EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND OF UNIT TEACHING IN SCHOOL OF NURSING
In step 1985-1993, the College of Nursing (EUE), made several changes in organizational structure.
He was a strong interest in improving the research itself and configure it with nursing, which seemed appropriate to create a Department of Research Support, whose teachers gave methodological advice and logistical support (use of computers ) students and teachers.
The activity of the various departments is coordinated by the Department of Education, Research and Extension (DEIE), led by a nurse with extensive training in education and curriculum development.
The DEIE comprised who assumed the Directorship of the undergraduate departments, and who takes responsibility for the Post-graduate courses (continuing education and internships primarily) and a student for each income group or generation.
The DEIE also advise and cooperate with government bodies in planning, monitoring and implementation of educational programs attended by teachers in the use of methods and pedagogical techniques, including by organizing training activities teachers in these areas and coordinates research and extension lines.
In 1989, DEIE proposal, a Learning Support Committee, which worked with different teachers in the EUE, such as Delia Falero (teacher), Ma Luz Osimani (educator and BA in Sociology), Silvia Santana and Josephine Green (nurses who were completing the Bachelor of Education) and the Director of DEIE, who coordinated the Commission.
The Learning Support Committee organized workshops, various workshops that integrate the process of developing the current curriculum.
